There will be a series of activities (lunches, lecture visits, tours, welcome/goodbye parties) to introduce prospective PhDs to the department, the campus, the city, and other graduate students. Be on the look out for opportunities to engage with these (hopefully) delightful people and lend them your insights into the program and life as a graduate student.
